Dustin Gimbel

Dustin Gimbel has been a plant geek since he started working in his grandparents' garden as a child.  Receiving degrees in horticulture from Cal Poly, Pomona, and the Royal Historical Society in England, Dustin continued his education at such renowned gardens as Dan Hinkley's Heronswood Nursery in Washington State and the Great Dixter House and Garden in Sussex, England. In 2006 he returned to the US to begin his own company, Second Nature Garden Design. As his career has evolved, so has his interest in creating the beautiful pottery to house his beloved plant specimens. While many of his creations are one-of-a-kind, The Point Pot is Dustin's first foray into commercial design and manufacturing. Follow him on Instagram @dustingimbeldesigns
