Plants living indoors should be submerged in a bath of water for 1-2 hours every 10 to 14 days. Outdoor air plants can be soaked with a hose weekly. In very hot weather do a supplemental misting and/or soaking 1-2 times a week for allplants.
After watering, gently shake out excess water and allow to dry upsidedown. Airplants need good air circulation.
Fertilize occasionally with a weak solution of epiphyte (bromeliad) fertilizer or organic sea kelp added to the soaking water (save this solution to water house plants).
