The Lobivia Longspina (aka Britton & Rose) is a fiercely spined and quite variable species with spectacular flowers of almost any color. And it's native to Argentina!
Care: Prefers bright, direct sun that lasts most of the day. Water regularly in summer - but do not overwater.
Tip: It needs good drainage and it's very porous, so keep it rather dry in winter. Feed with a high potassium fertilizer in summer.
