I. Ronni Kappos jewelry is handmade from an evolving collection of vintage German glass. The beads were cast in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s by craftsmen whose meticulous techniques yielded unusual colors and shapes. Some of the rarer stock was dipped in 24 karat gold and then shaved to create an elegant gold trim around the bead. Variations in the beads' color, or even slight imperfections, also add character to the pieces.
Ronni's design approach begins with a tremendous devotion to her materials. She values their history, but also designs with an eye for clean, modern shapes.
