The Cara de Planta line are a series of pots/planters made by humans for humans, created by visual artists Isai Pineda and Samuel Pineda. Based in Oaxaca, Mexico, the brothers create their pots inspired by the idea that the world is a garden and we are the pots.
Using traditional Mexican techniques and clays, Cara de Planta pots form a connection between us and nature. “Creamos planta planta para que el mundo se plantara”. (We created Planta Planta so the world could plant themselves.)
