Tlapazola Bowls are handmade by a Women's collective from San Marcos Tlapazola in Oaxaca, Mexico. The bowls are made with 100% red clay, which is collected from the local mines in Tlapazola. These plates have a unique red texture, perfect for your gourmet food. Food safe, 100% lead-free, 100% toxic-free.

Don’t leave water/liquids inside the red clay piece for more than 24 hours, clay will start to turn white. Add a plastic lining or cup if you want to use for flowers. If using for cooking, please cure with hot water or other curing methods found online. Hand wash only, do not use in dishwasher or microwave.

Please note the bowls are handmade, there will be details around the bowl; such as gold spots known as Maika, which is a natural mineral found in the clay and derives from volcanic ashes. There will also be natural scratches caused by the firewood when burned.
