Traditional Mexican Tile

These beautiful patterned and solid colored hand-made and hand-painted rustic tiles are carefully created by craftsman families in Mexico. These tiles can have slight irregularities and differences from one to another, because of their handmade nature. This imparts that special antique, folk-art look and quality. Traditional Talavera tile is made with two kinds of reddish clay, rolled and cut by hand like dough, and then fired in a mesquite kiln.
